What it does
EzzyBills reads supplier bills from email or upload, codes them, runs them through approval rules and exports them to accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB and NetSuite, according to its own documentation.
Each account gets its own upload email address, the docs say. The pricing page lists PDFs, images, in-body email and email links as the file formats it takes.
By default, the coding guide says, EzzyBills tries the account codes set during approval, then the supplier's GL account, then line descriptions matched against your invoice history in Xero or MYOB, then the supplier's default.
The PO guide says EzzyBills takes the PO number off the bill and looks for the same PO in your accounting system.
According to the PO approval guide, a bill matched to a PO and approved reaches Xero as Awaiting Payment, not Draft, so I'd check which status your workflow sets before it touches real bills.
The September 2026 changelog lists a new Accounts Payable Email Agent, which EzzyBills says analyses incoming email and routes it into the right workflow.
Who it fits
EzzyBills suits small businesses and bookkeepers on Xero, QuickBooks or MYOB, and every plan on its pricing page includes that connection.
Each plan's document quota is yearly, not monthly. Australian prices include 10% GST.
Premium is the first plan with unlimited companies, for up to 2,500 documents a year. I'd start a bookkeeper with several clients there.
The Simpro, Cin7, ServiceTitan and Procore connections start at E10. One EzzyBills customer story is about a New Zealand electrical construction and service company that approves supplier invoices in Simpro.
With automatic billing on, the pricing FAQ says a plan may renew early once fewer than 100 documents remain, carrying the unused ones forward. Count a year's bills before you pick a plan.
The plans run up to Enterprise E200, for up to 220,000 documents a year, so I've kept businesses of 51 to 250 people in. None of the customer stories I read gives a headcount, which is why I stopped at 250.
Limitations
EzzyBills' own terms say its "success rate is less than 100%" and make you responsible for checking every extracted invoice before it's used for accounting.
Line items aren't guaranteed to come through on every invoice either, the same terms say.
The duplicates guide says EzzyBills checks for duplicates at export, not at approval, so a bill approved once can be emailed to you for approval again.
EzzyBills' docs say changing the order it uses to pick account codes means pasting JSON into a workflow setting, and that an approval workflow without the right tasks has to be set up manually.
E50, the cheapest plan the AP Email Agent is intended for, was listed at A$5,500 a year on EzzyBills' pricing page in October 2026, though the docs say the agent can be offered to anyone at an introductory price during its beta.
Neither Sage nor SAP is on the integrations page. If your books live in Sage, look at the other invoice processing agents. With SAP, read when a custom build beats an off-the-shelf tool first.
EzzyBills' privacy policy still says GDPR "will take effect on 25 May 2018".
The terms say the data of an account left unpaid for more than a year may be deleted without notice, and they rule out refunds on a first subscription.
Only the Australian dollar prices were in the version of the pricing page I read in October 2026, although it has tabs for other countries.
A Xero App Store review from September or October 2026 mentions "minor issues that crop up from time-to-time", alongside praise for prompt support.

How it scores: 26 of 35
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Job fit and output quality | 4 of 5 | Docs cover inbox capture, line items, GL coding from history, PO matching and up to 5 approval stages; PO matching starts at E10; Sage and SAP not listed |
| Setup time | 3 of 5 | Its Xero listing says 5 minutes and no setup for bills, with a 14-day trial; changing the coding order means JSON, and missing approval tasks are added by hand |
| Price at small-business scale | 5 of 5 | Light listed at A$132 a year for 450 documents and Standard at A$297 for 1,200 in October 2026, with approvals on every plan |
| Controls | 4 of 5 | Approval rules, a Require Notes setting, a Waiting for Approval queue, approver-only logins and cancellation logs; I found no audit-trail page |
| Integrations | 4 of 5 | Integrations page lists Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, NetSuite, Reckon, Simpro, Procore, Cin7 Core and cloud drives; no Sage or SAP |
| Security evidence | 3 of 5 | SOC 2 Type I report on request, ISO 27001 Azure data centres and MFA; privacy policy names Hong Kong storage, no subprocessor list, nothing on model training |
| Independent user evidence | 3 of 5 | Xero App Store: 4.92 of 5 from 201 reviews, the newest six from September and October 2026; G2 and Capterra could not be read in October 2026 |
